The best thing about online shopping is you get to shop for the things you need hassle-free and fast! You don’t have to go to an unknown place anymore, things will be delivered straight to your home! But do take care with online buying, because it’s so hassle-free you might overspend (like I do!)

Please note: I was not paid nor contacted by these stores. I just want to share what I found online. I have transacted with 1 or 2 of these stores and some I post here so I can keep track of them in case I need to purchase in the future.

Find out where to buy those gorgeous yarns above after the cut!

I met the owner online through Ravelry, ever since then I have been following her blog. She is now a craft blogger with a mission: to destash half of her stash. She first started posting her items on our Ravelry group and the crochet hooks and knitting needles were gone as soon as they were posted. I was lucky that I still got a hold of these DPNs below. I also ordered some Soutmaid Cotton, cabling needles and these balls of cotton thread from Rosario. Don’t you just love that color?

Yarn Source Manila

Yarn Source Manila opened in the summer of 2012. Our goal is to be the Philippines’s premier supplier of local yarns to craft enthusiasts around the nation and the rest of the world.

Where to find it: Yarn Source Manila Facebook page or Multiply store

What to find: YARNS. YARNS. YARNS. Yarn Source Manila is the online source of the cheapest, biggest balls of yarn in the Philippines. They sell balls of yarns that are priced at P35 to P60 pero 100 grams. Fibers of the yarns are (but not limited to) cotton, acrylic, mohair, abaca, chenille, etc. There are a vast array of solid and multicolor balls. It’s so easy to get crazy and addicted to their yarns. (Trust me, I know)

Tips for buying yarn in YSM:

  1. They upload yarns by batches every 2 weeks or so. They announce the date and time in their Facebook page, so watch out.
  2. When buying yarns, check each photo and the description carefully. The colors in the photos are very accurate.
  3. Prices per ball are posted in the description. Read the comments to see which balls are still available.
  4. TYPE VERY FAST or COPY PASTE very fast. Haha. If you see yarn ball that you like, decide very quickly what weight you want and comment on it as soon as you can. Keep in mind that there is a frenzy going on.
  5. After choosing your yarns, PM the list to YSM and she will explain everything else from there on.
